Orange County darlings IGNITE will release their new album “Our Darkest Days” May 15th 2006 on Century Media Records in Europe. The band, whose fan base has largely been developed through near-constant global touring, deliver a passionate and truly unique mix of hardcore, rock, and punk that has taken them and their message to over 30 countries worldwide. Never resting on their laurels, the Babies have a new album brimming with confidence and their patented throwback rock flair. Produced by Nicke Andersson, guitarist of The Hellacopters, the new album, titled “People Like People Like People Like Us,” is a celebration of all that the Babies have been known for while giving listeners a few new sonic treats in the process. The band: “It’s a more dynamic album with a more modulated sound where Nicke Andersson taught us how to ‘play together’ but at the same time it was his restlessness that gave the album its honest and simple sound. We wrote more intense and under a shorter period than ever before. A challenge that proved to be just positive since you don’t have time to analyze everything to pieces.”

HASTE THE DAY Announce New Singer!!!

After one European tour and two weeks into their tour with BLEEDING THROUGH and EVERY TIME I DIE, HASTE THE DAY have made Stephen Keech a permanent fixture in the band. Stephen replaces Jimmy Ryan as the lead singer for HASTE THE DAY . Jimmy Ryan made his decision to depart the band known back late November of 2005. His decision to leave was strictly personal and was amicable.

HASTE THE DAY became aware of Keech in early 2005 through his involvement in bands locally in Denver, Colorado.

As one of the longest standing bands still proudly waving the flag of New York Hardcore, SICK OF IT ALL have made their mark as one of the cornerstones of NYHC, proving that heart, hard work and dedication to hardcore is about more than just the music and an image, it’s a way of life.

“After discussing our situation quite a bit, we realized that we needed to be on a label that was run by a fan of our music,” says drummer Armand Majidi. “We found that in ABACUS, because the head of the label wanted to sign us all the way back in 1993, and hasn't lost his enthusiasm for SOIA. That's dedication - something rarely found in this industry. We're excited to be a part of something that's just taking off.
